Does this tool generate a .ico file?

No. This tool generates individual PNG favicon files at the sizes you select (16x16, 32x32, 48x48, and 180x180). It does not currently generate a multi-resolution .ico file.

What image formats can I upload?

You can upload PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WebP images, depending on your browser's support for the format.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never sent to AIGuideDesk or any third party.

What if my image isn't square?

The tool automatically crops your image to a centered square before generating each favicon size, so no part of the image is stretched.

What sizes should I use for my website?
